Re: How to share linux directory to windows

Hi,

How will I able to browse my linux directory in windows without using samba?
I haven't tried nfs because I think its for linux to linux only.

Hope you can help me.

Thanks in advance.

Re: How to share linux directory to windows

I suppose you could always run an FTP or Telnet client on your Windows box and "browse" that way.... but probably you want Windows to see the Linux directory as if it was a local directory.  Perhaps WebDAV would do the trick?  (I haven't used it myself but IIRC it does this sort of thing)
