Re: Core dump

In my system core dump is not created, what could be the reason? I am using Kdevelop and the executable is located in the debug directory. Which is the location of core dump file? My program causes segmentation fault, I am not able find the core dump. Do I have to make any settings change in my environment? or SIGSEGV wont create a core dump?

Re: Core dump

Use ulimit -c to allow coredumps and they'll be created in the working directory of the program.
