Track down where 'or' is defined to ||. Looking at the code it must be wzgrid.hxx, but that makes no sense because otherwise the code would have never compiled. Assuming the original code compiled, the error should be somewhere else. Maybe it's caused by the -Dfortran_?

I downloaded the source. It's a mess. The original developer left, the thing is unmaintained and has a horrible build system. If the build fails it rebuild everything again!

If I were you I would find another lib which does the same...

I tried compiling the bunch, but one bizar error after the other made me give up, sorry.  (Including ostream isn't good enough to get the class ostream declaration? Wtf?!).
